Worked examples

=HF_VERSION()

=HF_VERSION()

With a Free owner and the pinned release, returns "2026-09-15-holidays-0.104-t0-repair-5 · Free".

=HF_VERSION()

=HF_VERSION()

With a Pro owner paid through 2027-09-15, returns "2026-09-15-holidays-0.104-t0-repair-5 · Pro until 2027-09-15". The paid-through date depends on the subscription.

Free and Pro

This directory or diagnostic function is available on both Free and Pro, with no year argument. Regional calendar calculations, years outside the current + next calendar year, and custom extra ranges require Pro. The spreadsheet owner’s tier applies. See pricing.

Errors

Year-window, missing-year and incomplete-calendar errors do not apply to this directory or diagnostic call. SUBDIVISIONS with an unsupported country returns the unknown-code error below. These are the exact calendar error texts you may see in related formulas:

Calendar coverage and estimated dates

Estimated dates can move by a day when authorities confirm them. HOLIDAYS and HOLIDAYNAME preserve the source’s exact " (estimated)" suffix where supplied. An absent label does not prove that a date is confirmed.

For codes without working-weekend data, coverage is statutory weekend only: public holidays and the configured weekend rule, with no inferred make-up working days. Business-day formulas require a complete calendar for every year touched; Pro does not unlock unpublished calendars. Read the data coverage guide.
